Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 scallion (greens thinly sliced for topping)
Instructions
- Boil water and cook spaghetti to preferred doneness. Save 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a medium skillet. Sauté garlic on low until fragrant, salt generously.
- Stir in gochujang, honey, and vinegar. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture reduced, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in spaghetti and remaining 1 tbsp of butter until melted. Add pasta water, as needed to thin out the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Top with scallion greens and serve immediately.
